Ramona Singer: I Wanted My New Apartment to Be Edgy

Ramona Singer gives us the deets on her renovation.

Watching last night was really fun. I loved working on my apartment and creating a new vision for it. I started out knowing the color scheme I wanted and the look. I knew that greys were a calm color, but that I wanted it to be edgy to make me feel great. I also think that working with different price points of furniture is key. I bought things from Pier 1, Mitchell Gold, and Ethan Allan. I brought in some color with oranges, different tones, and by adding accessories of different shapes and styles from many different stores. Home Goods is truly a favorite, as is CB2. They always have interesting pieces.

Ramona you are truly an inspiration…my 10year old daughter says she wants to be like you. We have been battling homelessness for about a year now and when it feels like it can only get worse, Abigail will say to me don’t worry mom. I’m going to be just like Ramona and I will take care of you. I would love for her to be able to meet you one day… thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

Hi Ramona, I love how you decorated your apartment. The grays are neutral and soft. It is fresh looking. I also love the special touches, like the pillows, the pink lampshades and the spice rack! Neutral is an excellent pallet. You can add lots of colors as you wish, like holiday decorations, then go back to your clean, lovely look. You are an inspiration to me! All the best to you!
